My eyes have led me down a path I never thought I would take. Although holding on to memories has always been important to me, I haven’t dreamed of being a photographer my whole life. I have, however, dreamed of keeping my kids small and my vacations alive. I have wished to stop time, to hold on to the moment, to bottle up my kids cute faces or the silly things they wear. To some extent, photography allows me to do just that. It has opened my eyes to a previously undiscovered world. It has allowed me to see the world around me with a deeper appreciation. I am constantly aware of the extraordinary among the ordinary and the beauty in the mundane. I don't see pictures. I see stories ... with both my eyes and my heart. I am a wordless storyteller. Thanks for joining me here.

Mara [Family]

After a foggy and cold morning, the skies cleared and the sun came out for Mara's one year old pictures! Here is her sweet family....
 Look at those curls!
I am sure this mom and dad are so thankful for their sweet little one.
Sarah has the exhausting, but special, job of being a stay-at-home mom.

Enjoy all of those walks in the park, playing on the swings, picking berries, and having tea parties in the train....Time just flies by!

"Maybe, let me check my calendar" [Engaged]

Yep. That was Courtney's response the first time Billy got up enough nerve to ask her out. Hard to believe they are planning to get married this summer after a response like that!

We had a wonderful time around town getting their engagement shots on a VERY windy Saturday. I am so excited to shoot their wedding next summer. For now, enjoy some of their images from our session.

Thanks for a fun morning. Enjoy all that planning - time will fly by!

Such Sweetness [Family]

As I was sitting down to write about this family, I realized that I really get to take pictures of some amazing people. Really. I don't say that lightly. These are people who make me a better person and leave me feeling encouraged and thankful. I was so thrilled to spend some time with them and capture their family's love for one another! They naturally are so loving and sweet that I knew it would be a piece of cake to get great shots. We had a beautiful day to roam around Westerville and enjoy some of God's great creation.
 Here is their oldest...
And the youngest....(Do you think that dad will have his hands full in a few years?)

As I was snapping some shots of just the mom and girls, I heard dad saying behind me that he just couldn't believe how blessed he was. I pray that you all keep that attitude of gratitude and may God continue to bless you all! It is a blessing to call you friends!

McIntosh [Family]

My husband and I are so thankful to have these wonderful people for our neighbors. I am thankful that they are always willing to help out or share some type of cooking ingredient or advice or even help with car pooling! They have three beautiful girls - on the inside and out - and we would be so ecstatic if our children turned out to be anywhere close to as kind as these girls are! We are blessed that they are role models for our children. Thank you!

We grabbed some pictures on what started out as a nice evening and quickly turned dark and rainy. Here are these beautiful young ladies:

And here are a few of the whole family...

And just a sweet one to end on. I just think this is beautiful. And, Molly, I am sure you are always this quiet and serene ;).
