There aren't many families I admire and respect as much as I do the Anglea family. So when I learned that their daughter Sarah was getting married, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph her wedding alongside my good friend Colleen of CT Photo Memories.
When I saw Sarah as a beautiful bride on her wedding day, it was hard for me to believe that she had been the flower girl in my wedding about 13 years ago! Not only is she a beautiful young lady on the outside, but she is a truly amazing role model for my daughters to follow as well. She and her mother were involved in making so many of the details for the wedding ~ from the invitations to the flowers to the details of her shoes! They did a wonderful job! I have enjoyed getting to know Zac and witnessing the love and respect he and Sarah have for each other. As he starts seminary in the fall, I know he will be a wonderful leader and an encouragement to so many people.
Sarah and Zac - thanks for letting me share in your big day. I look forward to seeing you grow as the years go by! Here are some of my favorites from the day:
Sarah wore pearls and gave pearls as gifts to each of her bridesmaids.
I love the way the flower girl is looking up to the beautiful bride in the mirror below.
The bridesmaids are getting the first glimpse of Sarah in her dress.
Sarah and Zac had two very special tributes. One was for Pastor Dave Plaster - mentor, pastor and friend. The other was to Rachel Green - friend of Sarah.
Sarah and Zac surprised their parents with letters they had written ahead of time that were read aloud during the ceremony - so sweet.
Matt - Sarah's brother - and CJ - one of her bridesmaids - did a beautiful version of Captivate.
They both wrote their own vows and when Sarah was finished saying hers, she interjected "I really do love you Zac."
Best wishes to a beautiful couple who I am sure will enjoy their life together. Thanks for blessing me!
