Nicole [senior girl]

Sometimes I cannot believe the sweet people I get to work with. I say that in so many posts but I am being 100% honest! And I have some really great people I am editing through right now and cannot wait to share their pictures and talk about them too!

For now, let's talk about Nicole. She is naturally beautiful. Some people wait their whole lives to have all of the attention centered on them and to have their moment in the spotlight and these people LOVE to be in front of the camera. However, I don't get the impression Nicole is like that....and she probably is totally fine to not be talked about. She was so sweet and unassuming...innocent and seemingly unaware of herself. In this day and age when so much of life is filled with "selfies" and "all about me," humility is hard to come by. She wasn't super opinionated (about the pictures ;) and was willing to do whatever, whenever - such an easy person to be around. If you have ever met her mom, she is so sweet and carries herself in the same manner.

Anyway, Nicole - I pray you have a WONDERFUL senior year. I am sure it won't be easy - because nothing worthwhile in life is easy. However I pray that you will know how much you are loved by God and your family and that your worth is not based on what you do or what college you get into or if you get a scholarship...but instead celebrating that you are a child of God and loved beyond measure...unconditionally. When life gives you bumps along the way, cling to His promises because in a world full of change and uncertainty - He is the only constant. (Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.)

Audrey [Senior]

What a lovely time I had with Audrey and her mom, walking through the beautiful park and then visiting uptown. Audrey has a very natural beauty - both inside and out. It was a privilege to be able to capture her at this special time in her life - as she is beginning her last year of high school and preparing for the next phase in her life. Enjoy these images from our time together....

Molly [Senior]

This beautiful young lady is just as sweet as she seems! What a blessing she is to our family. She has two sisters and the three of them are amazing young women. I pray that our girls can grow up to be as kind and helpful as they are. I loved my time with Molly and her mom. We walked through the woods, the weeds, over bridges...and almost to grandmamas house! (literally!) Enjoy these shots. Mom and Dad, I know you are proud of the young lady your daughter has become.

Love it when we come across something unique like this vintage "Mac" truck (named appropriately)!

Molly - we are so proud of you too. Thank you for being such a great example to our girls. Praying for you as you finish this chapter in your life and start a new one. Be blessed!

Kate [Senior]

What a beautiful, but windy, night we had to take Kate's senior pictures! We met on a brick drive that evening, the sun was preparing to set for the night and it was just gorgeous out. Kate, too, was beautiful and I enjoyed getting to know her and her mom during out time together. Kate is preparing to study graphic design, which is what I do a bit of, and I wish her the best in making that big decision about where to go to college. Here is just a sampling of what we got that night. Kate, I could have posted many, many on here, but here are a few of my favorites.

Bethany [Senior]

If you read my blog post about Sarah and Zak's wedding - you read about how much I admire and respect Sarah's family. Bethany's family is another special family that I hold in high esteem. My husband and I value them and are so grateful for their friendship over the years. What blessing it is to work for people you love!

It is such a treat to do senior pictures. Seniors tend to wear their personalities on their sleeves! Bethany was and is no exception. She is exuberant and full of joy. It was no problem trying to get her to smile or show her style. Enjoy traveling through the streets of downtown as you take a look at our session together!

We found this absolutely adorable, inspiring, vintage, chic little shop called Collier West. If you check out their website, it says their mission is "to inspire." That is an understatement. Could you ask for a more perfect place to take photos??? Not only did the gentleman working there kindly allow us to take photos in his store, he offered to let Bethany wear some of their unique vintage jewelry!!! So fun and unexpected! 

Praying that you will have a fabulous senior year and that God will make clear the plans he has for you. [Jer, 29:11] I am sure they will be big ones ;).
