Welcome

My eyes have led me down a path I never thought I would take. Although holding on to memories has always been important to me, I haven’t dreamed of being a photographer my whole life. I have, however, dreamed of keeping my kids small and my vacations alive. I have wished to stop time, to hold on to the moment, to bottle up my kids cute faces or the silly things they wear. To some extent, photography allows me to do just that. It has opened my eyes to a previously undiscovered world. It has allowed me to see the world around me with a deeper appreciation. I am constantly aware of the extraordinary among the ordinary and the beauty in the mundane. I don't see pictures. I see stories ... with both my eyes and my heart. I am a wordless storyteller. Thanks for joining me here.

Stratton + Emily [wedding]

It wasn't more than a month ago that I had the opportunity to meet Emily. My first impression was that she was a natural beauty, soft spoken, a sweet spirited young woman. I loved the way she looked at Stratton with such tenderness in her eyes...and when he made his jokes, she laughed...as we girls do with the men we love.

Stratton is energetic and a friend to all. From the gear he wore and the favors they shared, it was clear that he was (and is) a Buckeye fan - Go Bucks!  After seeing the cuff links Emily presented to him, she obviously thinks he is her Superman too.

While the two of them are somewhat opposite in personality, they are one in purpose and seek to glorify God in their lives. Their ceremony was a sweet act of worship and promise. I loved watching them share their first dance together. It was a day full of friends and family and I pray a special one to mark the next phase in their lives.

Loved the first look with her father. So sweet.

Blessings to you both! Thanks for letting us share in your day. Be sure to check out CTPhotoMemories for a look through Colleen's eyes!

Joni + Glyn [vow renewal]

It was a beautiful, sunny day August 24, 2013.... about 10 + years after their first "I Do's" when Joni and Glyn again promised their love and lives to one another. Set in the gardens of a beautiful mansion amongst their closest friends and family, they made their vows, sang each other sweet songs, and danced freely to the tune of God's love and grace. Here is a snapshot of the day. Prayers and blessings to the both of you....

Audrey [Senior]

What a lovely time I had with Audrey and her mom, walking through the beautiful park and then visiting uptown. Audrey has a very natural beauty - both inside and out. It was a privilege to be able to capture her at this special time in her life - as she is beginning her last year of high school and preparing for the next phase in her life. Enjoy these images from our time together....

Thanks for letting me share the day with you. Blessings.

Molly [Senior]

This beautiful young lady is just as sweet as she seems! What a blessing she is to our family. She has two sisters and the three of them are amazing young women. I pray that our girls can grow up to be as kind and helpful as they are. I loved my time with Molly and her mom. We walked through the woods, the weeds, over bridges...and almost to grandmamas house! (literally!) Enjoy these shots. Mom and Dad, I know you are proud of the young lady your daughter has become.

Love it when we come across something unique like this vintage "Mac" truck (named appropriately)!

Molly - we are so proud of you too. Thank you for being such a great example to our girls. Praying for you as you finish this chapter in your life and start a new one. Be blessed!
