Welcome

My eyes have led me down a path I never thought I would take. Although holding on to memories has always been important to me, I haven’t dreamed of being a photographer my whole life. I have, however, dreamed of keeping my kids small and my vacations alive. I have wished to stop time, to hold on to the moment, to bottle up my kids cute faces or the silly things they wear. To some extent, photography allows me to do just that. It has opened my eyes to a previously undiscovered world. It has allowed me to see the world around me with a deeper appreciation. I am constantly aware of the extraordinary among the ordinary and the beauty in the mundane. I don't see pictures. I see stories ... with both my eyes and my heart. I am a wordless storyteller. Thanks for joining me here.

McIntosh [Family]

My husband and I are so thankful to have these wonderful people for our neighbors. I am thankful that they are always willing to help out or share some type of cooking ingredient or advice or even help with car pooling! They have three beautiful girls - on the inside and out - and we would be so ecstatic if our children turned out to be anywhere close to as kind as these girls are! We are blessed that they are role models for our children. Thank you!

We grabbed some pictures on what started out as a nice evening and quickly turned dark and rainy. Here are these beautiful young ladies:

And here are a few of the whole family...

And just a sweet one to end on. I just think this is beautiful. And, Molly, I am sure you are always this quiet and serene ;).

Brett and Sarah [Family]

Peaceful. Tranquil. Serene. A Sanctuary. Those were the words/thoughts that came to my mind when I took a drive over the hills, through the misty fog, and saw the sun shining through onto this beautiful property. I had to take a few moments to catch my breath and just take it all in. What a gift it was for me to be able to spend some time here - in this little piece of heaven.

While there, I had the privilege of meeting a wonderful family - who was so family oriented. I enjoyed meeting you Sarah and Brett and Braden. Enjoy looking through some of your images from our time together!

We parents just love these moments...

What a sweetie!

The crew with mom and dad. What fun it was to spend time with you too!

Braden is SO big!

Who doesn't love a good pair of Levis?

Thanks for sharing a perfect morning with me! And....Braden, congratulations on your new tooth!

Davison [Family]

We met at the park on a beautiful day. I got there early and walked the grounds. I was struck with the beauty of the sun's rays peeking through the branches and was glad for the extra time to soak it in and say thanks. What a gift God had given us! This family was a delight to photograph. The children were very respectful and thankful.

I have no doubt this young lady will be protected by her big brothers.

As parents, we pray that our kids will make good choices and turn out to be kind, loving people. I think you two should be proud of the special people God has given you to love and to nurture.

We took a few extras of the oldest since he was a senior. Here are just two more of him.
May God continue to bless you Davison family!

Levi [Newborn]

Who doesn't love the smell and softness of a newborn? The newness of life, the slower pace, the freshness...This sweet baby has a wonderful set of parents. The mom taught one of my children for two years in a row and was a blessing to our family. From the time she learned they were expecting him, she was overflowing with joy and thanksgiving. I know baby Levi will be deeply loved and cherished!

Cousins [Family]

I had the opportunity to snap some shots of cousins who were in town to celebrate a graduation recently. Thanks for letting me celebrate with your family! Here are a few from our time together.
